With your support, we will invite two people in sustained recovery from addiction through the Pilamaya Yoga 220 Hour Teacher Training in 2018.

A seed we planted is starting to grow – but we need your help to water it.

In 2018 we will journey two people who are in sustained recovery from addiction through the Pilamaya Yoga 220 Hour Teacher Training course. Yoga is a remarkable practice that builds self-awareness, strength and healing in body and in mind. This initiative is rooted in a compassionate desire to offer support from personal turmoil into recovery and leadership.

Co-founder Gail brings 20 years experience of working in the private, public, and third sectors, and has first-hand knowledge of the damaging impact of anxiety and burnout that can result from highly stressful environments.

Shaura curated the Pilamaya Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training programme and Gail is a graduate who shares her unique skills on the course. The training cultivates self-responsibility, leadership, and heart-based yoga teachers.

The initiative is rooted in a compassionate desire to offer support from personal turmoil into recovery and leadership.

We are very grateful for any help you can contribute to the project.

We have set a target of £3,500 – enough to cover the costs of enrolling two people in the Pilamaya Yoga training in 2018. This training will change their lives, and give them the skills to continue on their path of recovery from addiction and inspire others to do the same.
