A three-night mind-and-body retreat in Snowdonia that promotes team spirit and inner resilience as we ascend the majestic Snowden Mountain and connect with her indomitable spirit
Are you seeking new experiences? Would you like to join a group of like-minded folk who wish to come together, practice yoga and contemplative practices? Want to get away from it all and be catered for with delicious food? How about a good old-fashioned challenge for the mind, body and soul?
If you answered yes to these questions, we invite you to read further…
Much inner strength can be acknowledged simply by meditating on the idea of a mountain. That is why the organisers of this retreat plan to purposefully connect participants to the Spirit of the Mountain through a day of climbing and meditation on Mount Snowden. At 1085 metres above sea level the summit of Snowden is the highest point that we can reach climbing a British mountain (outside of Scotland). The mountains and hard stones of the Welsh countryside open a window for us to connect with the strong and determined aspects of ourselves that we may not even know exists. Snowden – or in its native tongue Yr Wyddfa – is shrouded in mystery and intriguing folklore that dares us to climb high and descend as victorious adventurers.
It is our intention to brave the mountain and take a group of courageous people all the way to the top.

What will you get from this retreat?
We recognise that the times are speeding up and people are seeking unique experiences that they can hold in their hearts and memory banks for the rest of their lives. We also know that many of us exist in survival mode to varying degrees and actually need to leave our everyday lives if we are to unplug and reboot. This retreat is for those who are ready to unplug from the grid and have an experience that will enhance their wellbeing – perhaps forever. We would ask that participants have a basic level of fitness to be able to climb. We invite all those who steward groups in one way or another, such as mind and body teachers, group therapists, recovery workers, managers and anyone who wishes to lead in their personal or professional lives.
The Towers, is a truly delightful venue to support our journey of connection to the Spirit of the Mountain. We are excited to connect to the history of this house and the landscape that surrounds it. The venue address is The Towers, Caradoc Place, Llanfairfechan, LL33 0DA.
